Who is responsible for your information
PRECISE Events International is responsible for the personal information collected through this website and for deciding how website enquiries are handled. This notice covers the public website and the enquiries you send to our team.
Contact PRECISE Events International at [email protected] or +353 1 912 5010. Our address is The Edge, Avonmore Road, Tallaght, Dublin, D24 K07Y, Ireland.
An event registration website or a service we operate for a client may have its own privacy notice. That notice explains who is responsible for the event data and how it will be used.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect your name, email address and message. You can also choose to share your company, telephone number and an event brief, including the destination, date, guest numbers, event type and estimated budget. We keep relevant correspondence and notes needed to follow up.
Website and security systems process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information and request times. The enquiry service also uses protected identifiers to detect duplicate submissions and limit abuse.
Please avoid sending passport details, payment-card information, guest lists or sensitive personal information through the general enquiry form. If your event needs information about accessibility, health or dietary requirements, our team can discuss an appropriate way to provide it.
Why we use it
- Answering business enquiries: to understand your brief, contact you and discuss a proposal. Our legitimate interest is responding to people who ask about our services and developing relevant business relationships.
- Steps towards a contract: where you enquire as an individual about buying a service, we use the information needed to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
- Running and protecting the website: to deliver pages, handle submissions, prevent spam and investigate technical problems. Our legitimate interest is providing a reliable and secure service.
- Legal requirements: where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. If we ask for marketing consent separately, you can withdraw that consent without affecting your enquiry or any processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Who receives your information
Enquiries are available to the PRECISE team members responsible for reviewing and following them up. They are recorded in our enquiry system and customer relationship management system, and an email notification is sent to the team.
Service providers help us host the website and its databases, deliver content, protect traffic and deliver email. The current website uses Hetzner-hosted infrastructure, Cloudflare for network delivery and security, and Postmark for enquiry email delivery. Technical website support may require authorised access to investigate a problem.
We may also disclose information when required by law. An enquiry is not a public post: its contents are not displayed on the website.
Where information is processed
The website and enquiry databases run on our European hosting infrastructure. Network and email delivery providers may process information in other countries. Postmark describes its US hosting and international-transfer arrangements in its EU data protection information; Cloudflare describes its global processing in its privacy policy.
Where a transfer outside the European Economic Area requires a safeguard, the relevant arrangements may include an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
How long information is needed
The appropriate retention period depends on the purpose of the record. Enquiry correspondence is needed while we assess and discuss your brief. If it becomes a client relationship, relevant information forms part of the client and project record. Legal, accounting or dispute-related requirements can justify keeping particular records for longer.
For an enquiry that does not proceed, relevance, the last contact and any outstanding request determine whether it still needs to be kept. The website does not promise automatic deletion of all enquiries after a fixed number of days. You can ask about the information held for your enquiry or request its deletion using the contact details above.
Email delivery records and infrastructure logs are also subject to the relevant provider’s retention arrangements. An event-specific registration notice may set a different period for that event’s attendee information.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, receive certain information in a portable format, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can always object to direct marketing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it.
See GDPR and your data for how to make a request. You can also raise a concern with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission, or your local supervisory authority.
The form’s name, email and message fields are required so we can understand and respond to an enquiry. Other fields are optional. The website enquiry process does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects by automated means.
Cookies, browser storage and other websites
Our cookie policy explains the browser storage used by this website. Social links open the relevant platform; its own privacy information applies when you visit it. This notice does not cover another organisation’s website.
Changes to this notice
We update this page when the website’s handling of information changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version. For a question about an earlier enquiry, contact us directly.
